Falcons Cap Undefeated VCC Golf Campaign

The Fuqua School golf team capped off an undefeated season in Virginia Commonwealth Conference play last week with a first place finish in the VCC Tournament held at the Fort Lee Cardinal Club Blue and White Courses. The Falcons finished the season with a 27-0-0 record in eight three-team tournaments, plus last week's championship. The Falcons posted a team score of 354 to blister the field. Kenston Forest tallied a 391, while Southampton Academy posted a 410 and Brunswick Academy carded a 453 on the Par-72 course. Fuqua junior Taylor McAbee captured medalist honors with an 18-hole score of 77.
