Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Robinson, of Farmville, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melinda Anne Robinson, to William Travis Ferguson, both of Charlotte, NC.

Melinda is the daughter of the pastor of the Farmville Presbyterian Church; her mother is a nurse practitioner at Centra's Santori Medical Center in Keysville. Travis' parents are Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Ferguson, of Chapel Hill, NC.

The bride received her bachelor's of education from Wittenberg University, Springfield, OH, and her master's degree in education from Queens University in Charlotte. She is employed with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg County School as a kindergarten teacher.

Travis received his bachelor's degree in business from the University of North Carolina and is the financial analyst for the Charlotte Bobcats.

The wedding will take place at Avondale Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, NC, on June 16.
