Terry and Pam Tolliver, of Dillwyn, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Nicole Tolliver, to Michael Eldridge Baird, son of William “Pete” and Julia Baird, of Dillwyn.

Miss Tolliver graduated from Calvary Christian School in 2007 and attended Piedmont Virginia Community College and Western Governors University where she received her bachelor's degree in nursing. She is currently employed as a registered nurse in the emergency department at Centra Southside Community Hospital.

Mr. Baird graduated from Buckingham County High School in 1998. He is currently employed at Buckingham County Water Systems.

The wedding is planned for April in Buckingham.
