MEHERRIN, March 1 – Nathaniel “Nathan” Hunter Vaughan, 30, of Meherrin, died Monday, February 27, 2012. He was a paint and body technician for Goodman Truck and Tractor in Amelia.

He is survived by his wife, Heather Bagbey Vaughan and their children, Hayley Nicole Vaughan and Clayton Hunter Vaughan; father, James Irving Vaughan (Pamela); mother, Carolyn Taylor Powell; brother, Chad Irving Vaughan Sr. (Robin); sister, Crystal Vaughan Powell (Daylon); step-sisters, Kristen Borgerding (Zach) and Brandy Patterson; mother-in-law, Shelby Newton Bagbey; step-grandmother, Judith Taylor; six nephews and five nieces. He was the grandson of the late Norman H. “Butch” Taylor Sr. and Marian Carrington and Danny Irving and Lena Mae Vaughan and step-grandson of Thomas Nathaniel Carrington.

Memorial funeral services will be held Friday, March 2, at 3 p.m. in the Victoria Christian Church, Victoria.
