Buckingham County High School senior guard Tarian Ayers was named to the All Region B Boys Basketball Second team in recent voting by the coaches in the region. Cumberland senior Devonte Booker garnered honorable mention recognition, while Dan River High Schol senior Trey Edmonds was named the Player of the Year. He was joined on the first team by Amelia County senior and district Player of the Year Dante Bournes.
