Wesley and Christy Atkins, of Farmville, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Ashley Marie Wolfe, of Farmville, to Bryan Edward McQueen, son of Gary and Janet McQueen, of Farmville.

Miss Wolfe graduated from Prince Edward County High School in 2008 and attended Southside Virginia community College with a degree in nursing. She is currently a registered nurse in the emergency department at Centra Southside Community Hospital.

Mr. McQueen graduated from Prince Edward County High School in 2006 and is presently enrolled at Longwood University for a degree in Biology/Pre-Med. He is currently a paramedic for the Town of Farmville at Prince Edward Rescue Squad.

The wedding is planned for July in Farmville.
