CUMBERLAND, Feb. 9 – Raymond Lee Langhorne, 78, of Cumberland, departed this life on Sunday, February 5, 2012 in Cumberland.

He is survived by his children, Ray Langhorne, Raymond Langhorne Jr. and Mary B. Langhorne; 12 grandchildren, one devoted, Ebonie Arauz; two brothers, Willie Lee Langhorne and Charles Langhorne (Alease); three sisters, Patty Langhorne, Betty Ann Langhorne and Dorothy Mae Booker; aunt, Alma Brown; uncle, Levi Langhorne; brother-in-law, Willie Lee Carter; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

His remains rest at Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home where public viewing will be held Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Cumberland. The Rev. Larry E. Smith, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
