FEBRUARY 14 – Mattiemarie Judd White, 89, of Farmville, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2012. She was born in Emporia, Kansas to the late Wallace Lee and Mary Ethel Long Judd. She graduated from Emporia St. College and married Lloyd White. She loved her family and had a strong faith. She was a charter member of Heritage Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Lloyd White and wife, Barbara of Grimstead; daughter, Patricia Huffman of Boone, NC; grandchildren, Judd Huffman (Brooke) of Boone, NC, Heather Mull (Jeff) of Charlotte, NC, Amanda Rhyne (Stephen) of Alberterville, France, Ben White (Karen) of Austin, TX and Avee Huffman of Boone, NC; step-grandchildren, Steve Harvey (Glenda) of McLean and Greg Harvey (Lora) of Richmond; six great-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Heritage Baptist Church on Thursday, February 16, from 2:30 p.m. – 3p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 3 p.m. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice.
