Arvonia Christian Fellowship Church Thrift Store, located on U.S. Route 15 North of Dillwyn in Arvonia, is open Monday – Wednesday from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. All proceeds from the thrift store are used to help individuals and families in there hour of need.

Cedar Baptist Church, located just off of U.S. Rt. 15 North of Dillwyn on State Route 650 (Trents Mill Road) hosts a Men's Promise Keepers Prayer Breakfast Sunday mornings (excluding fifth Sundays) from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.
