Notice is hereby given that a public hearing for a certificate of public need request has been scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 in the meeting room at the Farmville-Prince Edward Community Library located at 1303 W. Third Street in Farmville, Virginia. The applicant for the project will be given up to a total of 15 minutes to present the project. Public comments on the project, limited to 3 minutes per speaker, will follow the presentation.

The project to be heard will be COPN Request No. VA-7874 submitted by The Woodland, Inc., d/b/a Holly Manor, proposing to add 5 nursing home beds at its facility located at 2003 Cobb Street in Farmville, Virginia. The proposed project does not require any new capital expenditure not previously authorized by the State Health Commissioner.

Any interested party may appear at this public hearing and present comments limited to 3 minutes per speaker. For the public's convenience, the sign-in sheets will be available at 11:00 a.m., and the public will start to be called following the applicant's presentation.
