On Dec. 11, there was a gift-wrapping party at Hampden-Sydney College sponsored by the Lambda Chapter of Omicron Delta Kappa, the national honorary leadership society. Students filled the fellowship hall of College Presbyterian Church to wrap presents for 160 children. The Hampden-Sydney student organization raised over $5,000 for clothing and toys during their “H-SC Cares for Kids” campaign. They worked with parents in the local community to identify their child's needs. Students, faculty, and staff provided donations, spending hours shopping or gift-wrapping. The Lambda Circle also received its first Maurice A. Clay Leadership Development grant from the National Office of ODK to support this initiative.
