FLORIDA, Dec. 20 – Clara E. Borum, 82, of St. Petersburg, formerly of Burkeville, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2011 at St. Petersburg General Hospital.

She was a school teacher in Pinellas County, having taught at two schools in St. Petersburg and retired from Oak Grove Middle School, Clearwater, FL. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pinellas Park.

Ms. Borum is survived by three brothers, Thomas J. (Peggy) of Farmville, Charles A. (Phyllis) of Pinellas Park, FL and Robert J. of Tampa, FL; three sisters, Catherine L. Dunkum (Sandy) of Webster, FL, Laura E. Goldfoot (Arnold) of St. Petersburg, FL and Gloria M. (Betsy) Golden and friend, Dan Hall of St. Petersburg, FL and 19 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Bessie Borum and three brothers, Albert Jr., Morgan J., and Calvin S. Borum.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Pinellas Park, FL.
