Youth ages 5-13 who are looking for something to do over the long winter break from school can spend time in fun and educational 4-H activities at the Buckingham Agriculture Center. Buckingham 4-H is once again offering two very popular Christmas activities.

Christmas Crafts will be held Tuesday, Dec. 20, from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Youth will be making crafts and tasty treats to keep for themselves or give as gifts. The Holidays Around the World Culture Party will be on Tuesday, Dec. 27, also from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Youth will learn about holiday celebrations from different countries and diverse cultures. Sign up for one or both. Cost is $10 each day and participants must pack a bag lunch.

To ensure enough supplies, participants must pre-register. Parents or other caregivers should call the Buckingham Extension Office at 969-4261. Older youth or adults who wish to volunteer can contact Vonett Jones at 969-4261.
