November 10 – Happy Birthday wishes are sent out to Frankie Branham, of Cumberland, and Rebecca Moore, of The Woodlands in Farmville, celebrating on Sunday, November 13, and Anna Butler, of Dillwyn, celebrating on Thursday, November 17.
Sympathy is extended to the Davenport family of Buckingham. Howard Davenport, 71, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 4. A funeral service was held November 10 at Antioch Baptist Church in Buckingham. He will be greatly missed by all.
Our prayers and thoughts go out this week to all those who are sick and shut-in.

Spreading God's Gift, Inc. is a local non-profit home-grown faith-based ministry organization that assists working individuals or families in need. Primary serving Buckingham and surrounding counties.
On Saturday, November 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Buckingham County Middle School Cafetorium (located just off of Route 60 at 1184 High School Road Buckingham) there will be a benefit dinner concert. Dinner will include an all you can eat beef vegetable soup, grilled cheese sandwiches, crackers, water, tea or coffee. This entire evenings event is donation basis only.
There will be Gospel Music featuring Smokey Wilson of Concord with Southern Gospel and The Deans Bluegrass Gospel from Standardsville.
There will be $550 in Wal-Mart gift cards to be given away for a donation of $2 per ticket from any board member. A first place winner will receive a $250 gift card, second place a $150 gift card, third place a $100 gift card and fourth place a $50 gift card.
