Christy Palmore and Samuel Davis, along with their families, are pleased to announce their engagement.

Miss Palmore, of Buckingham, graduated from Longwood College and is currently employed at Central Virginia Christian School in Dillwyn.

Mr. Davis, of Scottsville, attended Piedmont Virginia Com-munity College and is currently employed at the Buckingham Coun-ty Sheriff's Office.

A January 14, 2012, wedding is planned at Central Virginia Christian School.
