NOVEMBER 10 – Pearl Mobley, 80, of Farmville, passed away in Farmville on Tuesday, November 2, 2011. She was born in Virginia to the late Henry and Julia Carmichael.

She loved gardening and flowers and had many friends.

Mrs. Mobley was married to the late Donald Edward Mobley and is survived by her children, Linda Jean Webb (Curtis Michael) of Farmville, Samuel Mobley Sr. of Tennessee, and Debra Connelly (Alan) of Blackstone; a sister, Mabel Hatcher of Hampton; seven grandchildren, Amanda Hamby (David Louis), Heather Webb, Dana Webb, Sam, Paul, Michael Mobley-Cottrell (Heather) and Christopher Connelly; and five great-grandchildren, MaCayla, Gabriel and Dakota Hamby, Victoria Mobley-Cottrell and Jonathan Mobley.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 12, at 2 p.m. at the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Farmville.
