ABILENE, Nov. 1 – Norma J. Lowry, 76, of Abilene, passed away Friday, October 28, 2011 at her residence.

She is survived by her husband, Harry E. Lowry of Abilene; daughter, Beverly Bailey and husband, James of Drakes Branch; four granddaughters, Stephanie Roach, Jamie Lowry, Susan Harris, and Abrea Lowry; a grandson, Zachary Williams and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons, Michael Lowry and Harry Jesse Lowry and a grandson, Michael Luke Lowry.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, October 30, in the chapel of Shorter Funeral Home with interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice.
