Farmville has many hidden delights. Today, with the thermometer at 45 in a brilliant sun, we took a hot fish dinner from Joe's Fish Store across the street to Wilck's Lake Park. Moving out of the wind, we found a sheltered, sunny paradise on a bench close to the lake. As we ate, a Great Blue Heron strolled peacefully out of the rushes. The sunshine hit the water in a thousand sparkly points. After lunch, we walked along the crunch of leaves on the Sarah Terry Trail. You can't find a better lunch than that!
