RICHMOND, Nov. 17 – Clarice Newton White, 88, of Richmond, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2011.

She was the widow of Samuel White and daughter of the late Wade Lum and Ada Lee Dunkum Newton.

Surviving are her six children, Mabel Wilkerson of Farmville, Marjorie Lahmon of Richmond, Myra Mitchell of Illinois, Linda Shearin of Richmond, Robert White (Jamie) of Mosley and Beverly White of Richmond; 14 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, November 17, at Dunkum Funeral Home. Interment followed in Rocky Mount United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, was in charge of arrangements.
