The Farmville Town Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers located on the second floor of the Town Hall, 116 North Main Street, Farmville, Virginia for the purpose of hearing citizen(s) comments on proposed amendments to Town ordinance Chapter 28 Water, Sewers and Sewage Disposal Sec. 28-55 Water connection charge, Sec. 28-57 Deposits, Sec. 28-58 Rate schedule, Sec. 28-59 Surcharge on multiple units served by a single meter, Sec. 28-156 Sewer connection charge, and Sec. 28-158 Sewer charge. The proposed amendments will increase the water and sewer connection fees, deposits and rates.

Due to the length of the proposed ordinance amendments, they are not published as part of this notice. A draft of the proposed ordinances can be obtained by contacting the Town Manager's Office, or on the Town's website at www.farmvilleva.com.

Any person wishing to comment on the above-mentioned matter should plan to attend this hearing.
