RICHMOND, Oct. 27 – Olivian Elsie Osborne Gurrant, devoted sister, wife, mother and friend, 92, of Richmond and formerly of Monroe, NY and Buckingham County, gracefully entered eternal rest Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Richmond Community Hospital.

She leaves to mourn her departure a brother, Joseph Mansfield Osborne Sr. of Philadelphia, PA; sister-in-law, Janie Mae Osborne of Curdsville; three devoted nieces, Reverend Josine C. Osborne, Viola Osborne Baskerville and Violet Osborne Mensah of Poughkeepsie, NY; and a host of other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Alexander Gurrant and their only child, Dennis Alan Gurrant.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 1 at First Liberty Baptist Church, Dillwyn, followed by interment in the church cemetery.
