CARTERSVILLE, Oct. 27 – Miss Gladys Christine Liggon, 47, of Cartersville, departed this life on Monday, October 24, 2011 in Richmond.

She is survived by her mother, Amy Brown Liggon; brother, Thomas Liggon (Alease); five sisters, Patricia Davis (Tommy), Edith Liggon, Carlisa Liggon, Darlene Tyler (Charles) and Irene Anderson (James); two aunts; two uncles; seven nieces; seven nephews; other relatives and friends.

Her remains rest at Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home of Cumberland where public viewing will be held Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, Cartersville. The Rev. Leroy McLaughlin is pastor. Apostle Nathaniel Staton will be officiating. Interment will follow in Greater Works Christian Church Ministries Cemetery.
