The United States Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency (FSA) issues FONSI for a proposal in Buckingham County, VA that includes the construction of four (63' x 500') poultry houses. The FSA Farm Loan Program has received a guaranteed loan application for this construction. FSA completed an Environmental Assessment (EA) and has determined that the proposed activity in New Canton, VA will not have significant effect on the human environment; therefore, no environmental impact statement shall be prepared.

FSA is accepting comments on this FONSI and EA through October 8, 2011. The Final EA can be reviewed in person at the Virginia FSA State Office located at the address below between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Comments should be submitted to J.
