The Seventh Annual Southside Youth Festival will be held at Hooper Park in Crewe on Sept. 17. The event will start at 1 p.m. The main feature will be amateur Music Competition with monetary prizes for the top three winners.

Also on the program will be an art contest, poetry contest, obstacle course, rock climbing wall, outdoor bowling, helicopter rides, arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, free giveaways, fatal vision, and fun and games for all ages.

This festival is a non-profit event that is free to kids 19 and under (20 and above will pay $5 with proceeds going to youth-related activities in Nottoway and the surrounding counties).
