GREEN BAY, Sept. 22 – Sara Emma Wright Jenkins, 93 of Green Bay, passed away at her home on Tuesday, September 20, 2011. She was the widow of Robert Wade Jenkins. She was born in Cumberland on June 25, 1918 to the late Walter and Annie Smith Wright.

She is survived by her children, Robert Jenkins Jr. and wife, Anna of Green Bay, Barbara Bowen and husband, Robert of Burkeville, Nancy King and husband, William, Ann King and husband, Louis and Sandra Jenkins, all of Green Bay; sister, Gladys Loan of Farmville; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Hamlet and Walter Wright, sisters, Pauline Bollinger, Annie Crowder, Naomi Parker and Virginia Newman, and a grandson, Timmy King.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 24, at 11 a.m. at Sharon Baptist Church in Green Bay with interment in the church cemetery.

Family will receive friends Friday, September 23, from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at Puckett Funeral Home.
