SEPTEMBER 13 – The Rev. Worth McClellan Johnson, Retired, of Farmville died Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Lynchburg General Hospital, Lynchburg.

Rev. Johnson was the former pastor of Cedarville Assembly Of God in Brandywine, MD for 38 years, additionally he pastored at Bethel Assembly Of God, Richmond, for eight years, Emporia Assembly Of God, Emporia, for two years and was a traveling envangelist/teacher for two years.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Jane Johnson of Farmville; son, James W. Johnson of Severn, MD; daughters, Barbara J. Johnson of Highland Springs and Juanita S. Johnson of Farmville; sisters, Allen Hunter of Hopewell and Ruth Cobb of Pasadena, CA; four grandchildren, Teresa Lewis, Jodi Johnson, and David and Joel Johnson; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services were held on September 2 at Cedarville Assembly of God, Maryland.

Huntt Funeral Home, Maryland, served the family.
