Farmville native and Prince Edward Academy graduate, Kenneth E. Lewis, and his wife, Jennifer, were employed by American Airlines as flight attendants, both aboard American Airlines Flight 77 which terrorists commandeered to attack the Pentagon on September 11, 2001.

The couple resided in Culpeper.

They reside, still, in many hearts.
