SEPTEMBER 15 – Eloise Nash Bryant, 86, departed this life on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at the Woodland in Farmville. She was born September 12, 1925 in Charlotte Court House to Lewis Daniel Nash and Sarah Hamlet Nash.

Mrs. Bryant was a graduate of Randolph-Henry High School and a long-time member of Spring Creek Baptist Church where she was very active. She was also a long-standing member of the Pamplin Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her children, Gayle B. Harris of Abilene, James Ivan Bryant and wife, Kathy of Cullen, Barbara B. Hamlett and husband, Donnie of Madisonville, Richard Daniel Allen and wife, Rose of Cullen, and Cynthia Allen Bomar and husband, Kevin of Nathalie; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 63 years, James Robert Bryant.

Funeral services were held at Spring Creek Baptist Church, Darlington Heights, on Thursday, September 15.
