Roy Alexander and Mary Elizabeth Sexton Bowling, of Meherrin, celebrated 65 years of marriage Sept. 21. They were married in Pearisburg in 1946. They have two children, Gwendolyn Stone of Keysville, and Thomas Bowling of Pamplin; four grandchildren, Joshua Stone, Jacob Stone, Elizabeth Erich and Thomas Bowling, Jr.; and four great-grandchildren, Bobby Dunn, Alexis Brewer, Zachary Stone and Everett Erich.
