CUMBERLAND, Aug. 30 – Nina Bryant Ford, 100, of Cumberland passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 27, 2011.

She is survived by her children, Peggy Elrod (Ted) of Florida, Dorothy Waid (Jim) of Illinois, Stuart Ford (Marie) of Chester and Jackie Fore (Della) of Cumberland; sister, Amanda Watson of Cumberland; 14 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie L. Ford and son, Ernest W. Ford.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, August 31 in the chapel of the Shorter Funeral Home with interment following in the Cartersville Community Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
