AUGUST 9 – Jewel Daniel Fore, 91, of Farmville died on Sunday, August 7, 2011. She was born on December 18, 1919 in Prince Edward County, the daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Mary Catherine Trail Daniel.

Mrs. Fore was born into College Church, Hampden-Sydney and was the oldest continuous member.

She is survived by two daughters, Margaret (John) of Durham, NC and Brenda Fore Schauber of Richmond; and a granddaughter, Sarah Cline Mabus (Shannon) of Fort Mill, SC. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy T. Fore.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at College Church Cemetery.
