On Aug. 6, over 50 children of the clients of FACES received a hot breakfast and school supplies for the beginning of school this week. This Back-to-School event was coordinated by Minister Pamela LaRue of Reclaiming Our Lives Ministry; Jacqueline Ghee of the Youth Empowerment Center; and the Rev. Michael Cheuk of Farmville Baptist Church. The following churches, businesses and institutions contributed school supplies and back packs to this event: Apostolic Faith Church of All Nations, College Presbyterian Church, Farmville Baptist Church, Farmville United Methodist Church, Farmville Presbyterian Church, Hampden-Sydney College, Heritage Baptist Church, Mt. Pleasant/Beulah/Mt. Harmony United Methodist Churches, Reclaiming Our Lives Ministry, St. James Orthodox Church and Wal-Mart.
