The Fuqua School football team continues to work toward its August 26 season-opener at Brunswick Academy. The Falcons varsity roster should number around 25 full-time players, and with a couple of call-ups from the junior varsity the numbers could get up to around 30 on Friday nights. Fuqua finished as runners-up to Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot in both the VCC and the VISFA Division III Playoffs last year. Heading into the season, the two teams are the favorites to be battling for those top spots again.
