The Farmville Town Council and Planning Commission will hold a joint Public Hearing at 6:30 p.m., on August 10, 2011, for the purpose of hearing citizen comments on rezoning a large portion of the M-1 zoning district (along the Appomattox River) to R-2, B-2 and B-3, which involves 53 parcels and 203 acres. A map showing the proposed zoning map amendments can be viewed at the Town Office.

Any person wishing to comment on the abovementioned matter should plan to attend this hearing.
