JETERSVILLE, July 28 – Mary Virginia Saxtan, 84, of Jetersville, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 27, 2011.

She is survived by a son, Harold A. Saxtan III of Farmville; daughters, Sandra McMillen of Fincastle, and Hilda Virginia Jones of Indiana; sisters, Margaret Pettirossi of Sudley, Laura Deems of Dinwiddie, Annie Mae Baird of Blacksburg, and Thelma Lampkin of North Carolina; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday August 1, at Jetersville United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home.
