Editor, The Herald:

After doing a study of the candidates running for the new 22nd senatorial district in Virginia, I have decided to support Mark Peake for numerous reasons.

Nothing is more important to the stability of society and government than the home and family. Mark strongly upholds the traditional definition of marriage as between one man and one woman. Such marriage is surely the foundation upon which a good, thriving society can build prosperity, happiness, freedom, and quality life.

Mark, also, is a strong advocate for the protection of the unborn child. Whether inside or outside of the mother's womb, the child's life is a sacred gift from god, and that miraculous life must be protected. If the government doesn't advocate for the most vulernable, the unborn, how are they to be protected?

I encourage all to vote for Mark, who is also a fiscal conservative that will protect the treasure of our Commonwealth as well as its moral foundations.
