NEW CANTON, July 26 – Jason Reese Daly, 25, of New Canton, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2011. He was born in Farmville on January 5, 1986, the son of James and Dianne Daly of New Canton.

He was a loving father, son and brother. He loved outdoor life, hunting, fishing, camping and baseball. He used his beautiful smile instead of words.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughter, McKenzie Reese Daly of Dillwyn, brother, James Matthew Daly of Charlottesville, sister, Shalana Starr Daly of New Canton; grandmothers, Mildred Jones of New Canton and Mary Martin of Saxe; aunts, uncles, cousins and a neighborhood of caring relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, C.A. (Blinky) Jones Jr.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 27 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with interment in the church ceme-tery.
