Biking for Bill

Friends of Bill Anderson, who is battling cancer, want to honor him and let him know they are with him all the way. Knowing how much Bill enjoys riding on his Harley, what better way to honor him than with a motorcycle ride, especially one benefiting cancer research.

The ride is scheduled for Saturday, July 9, at the Dillwyn Firehouse. Registration will begin at 11 a.m., with bikes out at 12 noon. Plans include a ride-by past Bill's residence.

Donations are $20 for single riders and $25 for doubles. For more information, contact John O'Bryant at (434)315-1141 or Curtis Wharam at 315-3380.

Please note that if less than 200 tickets are sold, proceeds will be drawn as a 50/50.
