Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Keegan, of Rochester, NY, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Geraldine Keegan, to David James Dowdy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald W. Dowdy, of Farmville.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Keegan, of Rochester, NY, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Diehl, also of Rochester.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mrs. Lena Rose Dowdy, of Farmville, and the late Mr. Charlie Hamilton Dowdy Jr. He is also the grandson of Mrs. Lillian Stark, of Oradell, NJ, and the late Mr. Harold James Stark.

Miss Keegan is a graduate of Flintridge Preparatory School in LaCanada, CA, and Bucknell University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Lindsey is currently teaching for A Small Miracle Inc. in Raleigh, NC.

David is a graduate of Fuqua School and Longwood University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. David is employed by Audi of Raleigh, NC.

An October wedding in Charlotte, NC, is planned.
