PENNSYLVANIA, June 30 – Paul Johnson, 34, of Mechanicsburg, PA, died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, June 15, 2011. He was born January 16, 1977, to the late Larry E. and Margaret H. Johnson. He was the grandson of the late David E. and Estelle P. Holmes of Farmville, and Lawrence Johnson of Four Oaks, N.C. and Jessie Parker of Richmond.

Mr. Johnson grew up in Myerstown, PA where he graduated from Lebanon County High School in 1994. He then attended Manetee College in Bradenton, FL where he had hoped to have a chance to play pro-baseball. He was an avid baseball and basketball player, loved to fish and was a pretty good golfer.

Living to cherish his memory are a son, Dylan X. Johnson and his mother, Melissa Bobincheck of Mechanicsburg, PA; brother, David L. Johnson and wife, Kris and their four girls of Temecula, CA; a special uncle, Ronnie Parker of Richmond; two special aunts, Pattye Tomlin of Madison Heights, and Nancy Hall of Jacksonville, FL and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins in Richmond, Lynchburg and Farmville and in North Carolina.

A memorial and celebration of Mr. Johnson's life will be held at Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Sunday afternoon, July 3, at 2 p.m.
