Holliday Lake Notes Weekend Events

Holliday Lake State Park announces the following weekend events:

Friday, July 1, 4 p.m. “Orienteering” beginning in front of the concession stand; 5 p.m. “Going Batty” program and craft at the Amphitheater; 8 p.m. “Civil War Campfire” at the Campfire Circle;

Saturday, July 2, 9 a.m. “Canoeing 101” beginning in front of the boat house; $6/paddler, registration required; 1 p.m. “Letterboxing” beginning in front of the concession stand; 2 p.m. “Touch of Nature” program located at the tent between the beach and concession stand; 3 p.m. “Water Critters Hike” beginning at the fence by the beach; 7 p.m. “Canoe Tour” starting in front of the boat house, $6/paddler, registration required;

Sunday, July 3, 9 a.m. “Seining at the T-Dock; 11 a.m. “Geocaching” beginning at the Concession Stand; 3 p.m. “Animal Tracks” beginning at the boat launch; 5 p.m. “Butterfly Garden” program, meet at the butterfly Garden;

Monday, July 4, 9 a.m. “Rock Hopping in Saunders Creek” meeting at the fence by the beach; 11 a.m. “Touch of Nature” program at the tent between the beach and the concession stand; 1 p.m. “Watershed Demo” at the tent between the concession stand and the beach.
