DANVILLE, May 17 – Thomas Wesley “Doc” Nixon Jr., 57, of Danville, passed away at his home on Thursday, May 12, 2011. He was the son of the late Thomas W. Nixon Sr. and Hazel Atwater Nixon.

He is survived by three children, Emily Roberts, Thomas Nixon III, and Randolph Nixon; sister, Judith Peregoff; two brothers, Jerry Nixon and Phillip Nixon, and a grandson, Connor Roberts.

A graveside funeral service was held on Monday at the Buckingham Community Cemetery.

Dunkun Funeral Home, Dillwyn, was in charge of arrangements.
