Ronald W. Mason Jr. recently retired from the Air Force af-ter serving 20 years and is now living in Farmville. His grandfa-ther, the late Sgt. Clarence O. Mason, of Pheonix, retired from the Army after serving over 22 years, and his father, Ronald W. Mason Sr. served in the Navy over 23 years. Ronald Mason Jr. received numerous awards for outstanding military, humanitar-ian, and community service during his 20 years in the Air Force and has been overseas a number of times. He has two children living in California, Aundriea, who will be 16 this month, and Brandon, who is thirteen.
