Editor, The Herald:

We, the family of Jesse Morgan, Jr., would like to express our deepest appreciation to those who have supported us in our time of loss. The outpouring of kindness has been overwhelming at times. Jesse was known by many and we would never be able to thank everyone any other way than with this letter to the editor.

The many phone calls, visits, cards, flowers, and kind words have meant so much to us. The thoughtfulness of those fixing meals, sending necessary items, and sitting with us, we will never forget. The pastors and church families who have gathered around us sending up much needed prayers have been blessings in themselves. We were honored by those who made donations in Jesse's memory.

We would also like to thank the wonderful doctors and nurses of Southern Albemarle Family Practice, Centra Southside Hospital, Lynchburg General Hospital, and Centra Hospice of Farmville. The care and respect shown to Jesse and our family was tremendous. The comfort and support given by these fine people has been unbelievable.

In closing, we would just like to say 'thank you' to everyone for devoting parts of your lives to make our lives easier. May God bless you all!
