CARTERSVILLE, April 12 – Lillie Dunivan Bowles, 84, of Cartersville went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 9, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Harvey Dunivan and Viola Catherine Simmons.

Mrs. Bowles was a faithful member of Fork of Willis Baptist Church for 72 years.

She is survived by a son, Willie Bowles Jr. (Bonnie) of Chesterfield and three daughters, Patricia A. Burks of Farmville, Barbara Wood (Danny) of Cartersville and Debbie Crews (Ronnie) of Farmville; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Ellen Woodson (William) of New Canton and brother, Howard Dunivan (Christine) of Columbia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Bowles, sister, Elizabeth D. Turpin and brother, Herman H. Dunivan.

A graveside service was held Monday, April 11, at Fork of Willis Baptist Church.
