If you've ever wanted to be part of a Guinness World Record attempt, now is your chance! Longwood students, faculty, and staff, who are attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the largest papier mache sculpture, are in need of witnesses not affiliated with Longwood University to view the construction.

Work on the sculpture, a giant beach ball, will take place in Lankford Student Union Monday, April 25, through Wednesday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day.

“Volunteer witnesses are needed for all times during these hours,” said Josh Blakely, area coordinator for Longwood's West Campus. “This is a wonderful opportunity for community members to support Longwood and view an incredible project at the same time.”
