This thank you and note of appreciation is long overdue. On February 26, 2011, the Wesley Foundation at Longwood University and Hampden-Sydney College sponsored a fund-raising Pancake Breakfast at Applebees in Farmville.

Applebees supplied the food and the cook free of charge and the Wesley Foundation Board members and college students did the remainder of the work. This event, thanks to Applebees and the community, was a huge success! Over 200 hungry folks came for breakfast and they were not disappointed; the pancakes and sausages were great!

This was certainly a “winning” combination! Thank you Applebees and everyone who came to the breakfast. . . Let's get together again sometime soon!
