The Buckingham County Christian Fellowship Association, a non-profit organization, took a group of fifty-two members and friends down to Greensboro, NC, on Saturday, March 19 to The Barn Dinner Theatre. The group enjoyed a buffet supper and a spectular show “Band of Angels” featuring impersonators of stars from the past such as Patsy Cline, Mini Pearl, Johnny Cash and many others.

Our sympathy is extended to the Waycaster family of Dillwyn. Forrest Speas Waycaster, 88, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 17. A funeral service was held on Sunday afternoon at Jones Chapel Baptist Church in Cumberland. She will be greatly missed by all.

Note: All are invited to mark their calendars for Saturday, April 19 for the annual Cumberland County Patriots Day Celebration. More details later.
