Sarah Elizabeth Knowles, of Corning, NY, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Knowles, of Corning, NY, and Richard Lawrence Hollister, of Falls Church, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Palmer Hollister, of Moseley, announce their engagement.

Miss Knowles received her B.S. in Adolescent Ministry at Indiana Wesleyan University. She is attending Regent University for a Master's of Education in Student Affairs. She is currently employed by the Harris Corporation as an administrative assistant.

Mr. Hollister is a graduate of George Mason University. He is employed as a software engineer by Harris Corporation in Chantilly.

A spring wedding is planned.
