Spring Children's Carnival Set For April 1

InSIGHT Events has announced a spring carnival for children and their families to benefit the Longwood Center for Communication, Literacy and Learning. It will be held April 1 in the ABC rooms of Longwood University's Lankford Student Union. The event will run from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Spring Palooza carnival will include activities such as games, raffles, prizes, face painting, tee shirt designing, music, and food catered by ARAMARK. This fun-filled event is ideal for all age ranges of children and their families. Tickets will be sold at the door for $5. With purchase of entry ticket, ten free gaming tickets will be provided. Additional gaming tickets can also be purchased at small cost. Food will be on site for carnival- goers' enjoyment.

The goal of the Longwood Center for Communication, Literacy and Learning is to provide speech and language evaluation and therapy for children and adults, targeted tutoring for elementary-middle school aged children and educational evaluations. The center, in association with Longwood University, is committed to quality education for students and service in the Southside Virginia area. LCCLL relies on the generosity of caring individuals and organizations. The center prides itself on not turning anyone in need away, no matter their current financial situation. Any donations that individuals can provide are of great help to the center and greatly appreciated.

Free parking will be provided on the Longwood campus at a nearby location for all visitors. The Spring Palooza Children's Carnival is open to the entire Farmville community. Any support would be appreciated by inSIGHT Events and the Longwood Center for Communication, Literacy and Learning.
